Max Llewellyn will be desperate to maintain his outstanding Premiership form as the free-scoring Gloucester Rugby centre returns to action on Sunday.
Both sides are enjoying good campaigns with Bath Rugby at the summit, while the Cherry and Whites have put a dismal 2023/24 behind them and enter round 12 in third.
In round 11 back in January, both sides were on the winning side as Bath beat Saracens away from home 32-23 and Gloucester Rugby saw off Leicester Tigers 38-31.
Gloucester centre Seb Atkinson (second with 19) and full-back Santiago Carreras (fifth with 17) were in the top five for carries across the division after their win over Leicester, while in metres made this season Llewellyn is fourth with 107 and top in line breaks (25).
Welsh international Llewellyn is also joint second in the try-scoring charts with seven and his scrum-half Tomos Williams is comfortably clear in the top passes, 138 clear of second place, illustrating Gloucester's willingness to play from deep.
Bath No.8 Alfie Barbeary and Atkinson are threats with their offloads proven by their joint-league most four during their respective wins.
Gloucester flanker Lewis Ludlow proved a safe pair of hands at lineout time with six won on his side's own throw.
Russell hopes to shore up his defence
Bath fly-half Finn Russell will be desperate to return to action after the Six Nations as he looks to add to his league-high 111 points tally but the Scotland 10 will be desperate to creep down the missed tackles charts where he currently sits second with 25.
