Gone are the days of an easy bonus point victory in Rome for the away side. Italy on paper are on the premise of a golden period of Azzuri Rugby.
Littered with talent from 1-15, The Italian national team are entering the M6N on the back of a record breaking tournament last year where arguably they could have won 3 games out of 5 (Save for an unfortuante Tee Incident against the French)
With Scottish Superstar Sione Tuipolotu sidelined with injury all eyes will be on 12/13 combo Tommasso Menoncello and Juan Ignacio Brex who have been in immense domestic form - The latter arguably one of the form outside centres in the world game at the moment.
The Huwipolotu axis being reduced to a mere Huwfford combo it could be seen as an area of weakness for the Italian attack to target.
Italy's backline has been exhibited some brilliant attacking shapes in last years International Season and now boast a back three that many international sides would salivate for.
Ange Capuozzo v Duhan Van Der Merwe will be pure popcorn entertainment for the visiting fans. The Magic-Feet of the Toulouse winger will be sure to cause issues for the Scottish Juggernaut. Wing.
The other wing wont be short of fireworks either with Monty Ioane making a triumphant return after a short lay off to face The Highlands Cheslin Kolbe - Mr Darcy Graham.
Except some immense physicality up front but some finesse and tries in the back division - this will be my Game of The Weekend.
