Chicago Hounds compounded misery on the winless Anthem and increased their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference.
The Eastern pacesetters scored four tries to win 28-20 through braces of tries by Mason Flesch and Dylan Fawsitt to stretch their lead at the top of the table to seven points, while Anthem are now 11 points adrift of fifth place in their bid to avoid finishing bottom.

Western Conference leaders Houston Sabercasts fell to a surprise 31-22 loss at fifth-place Eastern side Miami Sharks. Giuseppe du Toit, Marcos Young (2) and Tomas Inciarte crossed for the hosts, while the East table toppers were forced to settle for a four-try bonus point through touchdowns from Drew Wild, Wilton Rebolo and Rufus McLean (2).
Magic Mignot proves his weight in gold
NOLA Gold turned on the power to beat Old Glory 51-29 and went within two points of the third-place side thanks to Xavier Mignot’s hat-trick. Julian Roberts and Isaac Te Tamaki each scored two tries, while Jonah Mau'u also got on the scoresheet for the hosts. The visitors departed with a four-try bonus due to scores by Collin Grosser (2), Facundo Gattas (2) and John Rizzo.
New England Free Jacks beat San Diego Legion 39-12 in an inter-conference match up courtesy of braces from Harrison Boyle, Andrew Quattrin and Jack Reeves. San Diego settled for tries from Hugh Roach and Richard Judd and lost their hold on second place in the West.

A scoreless second half!
RFCLA and Utah Warriors played out an entertaining 21-21 draw as the latter blew a priceless opportunity to take the top spot in the West.
Andrew Coe, Billy Meakes and Reece MacDonald scored for the hosts, while Joe Mano's double and a penalty try saw the visitors bite back before a remarkable second half that ended pointless and saw the spoils shared.
Western Conference bottom side Seattle Seawolves were on a bye week due to the 11-team league and will be back in action next weekend.
